Sender addresses

The From address is the name and email your customers see. Use an address on your verified domain that people recognise.

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Add a sender

  1. Open Settings → Senders.
  2. Add the From name and email address, for example YourBrand News and news@yourbrand.com.
  3. Complete the verification step shown on screen.

The address must be on a domain you have verified in Settings → Sending domains. A sender on an unverified domain fails the pre-send check.

Choose a good From address

  • Use a recognisable name: your brand, or a person at your brand ("Sara from YourBrand").
  • Use a dedicated address for campaigns, such as news@ or offers@, and keep employee mailboxes for conversations.
  • Avoid noreply@. Replies are a good signal to inboxes, and customers trust addresses they can answer.

Reply-to

Replies go to the From address unless you set a different reply-to address on the campaign. If you use Business Mail, you can point replies to a mailbox your team reads, such as sales@yourbrand.com.
